Mac SOS is a small team, and it stays that way on purpose: our clients see the same faces from one visit to the next. If you are reading this page, a place is opening up.
Working at Mac SOS
Since 1996, we have looked after private clients: their Mac, their iPhone, their iPad, their photos, their passwords. Many of our clients are not at ease with technology, and that is exactly why they call us.
A technician here goes to people’s homes, in Geneva and the surrounding countryside, from Versoix to Chancy. They fix the problem, and explain what they are doing while they do it. When the issue can be solved without travelling, they take over remotely.
Hardware repairs (a cracked screen, a swollen battery) go to an Apple Authorised Service Provider. Your job is everything else.
What we don’t compromise on
- The same facesClients see the person who already knows their machine, their temperamental printer and their mailbox. Nobody has to rediscover their setup on every visit.
- We explainIn plain words, so the next breakdown is less frightening. If a technical word has to be used, the next sentence explains it.
- An honest viewWe say when a repair is not worth it, and when the current machine still does the job, even when that does not suit us.
- Good humourA breakdown is unpleasant enough already. We are not going to add to it.
